Fairfax hospital has the friendliest staff, and they all treat me like family.  Brandy is a 5-star nurse, Tammy, Whitley, and Priscilla are great also.  Dr. Evans and Rachel take the time to listen to me and take care of all my concerns regarding my medical care. They both come in often. Housekeeping is also very friendly and attentive, and the lab staff are sweethearts. I have been here many times and will continue to return. I love it here. My disease process causes flare ups often.  Having a safe place to turn when I get a flare up is just as good as having a cure.

My stay here at Fairfax Hospital has been amazing.  Very comfortable atmosphere.  The nurses try to solve problems as they arise immediately.  I am a dialysis patient, and it is so different than the bigger hospitals. In a bigger hospital dialysis is in a room with multiple patients.  Shannon, my dialysis nurse, is very compassionate and knowledgeable about dialysis.  I have a couple of nurses who have made my stay great, Cathy and a new nurse named Tamra.  They have helped throughout my stay away from home.  Made it comfortable in every way.  Also, the nurse practitioners Rachel and Valerie are also amazing and have been very thorough in my care, taking care of any problems that arise.  I love staying here.

Everyone here is so good!  Lacey, Heather and Julie are awesome as all nursing is.  Housekeeping does a great job cleaning my room and always visit with me. The food is also good, and all the kitchen workers are very friendly.  Therapy is wonderful.  Jonte’ is very good.  He makes sure I do all my exercises which have helped me to get stronger and better because of it.  I enjoyed my stay and would come back even though I live in Oklahoma City.

I was very scared upon arriving at Fairfax Hospital.  I was 2 1/2 hours away from my family and friends.  When I first arrived, I was met by Jenny and Kristy from Therapy.  They took me in hand and told me I was going to get stronger.  I did not believe them.  I am now stronger than I thought possible from a hospital visit.  I am now ready to move on after having made so many new friends.  This hospital has a feeling of home.  The food is absolutely delicious.  I adore the CNAs.  They made sure all my needs were taken care of and would pop into my room with a smile just to check on me.  The nurses are awesome, and the doctors listen, answer questions and speak to me in a language I can understand.  The staff here actually care!  Technology is beyond my wildest imagination.  The beds are awesome, and the lift takes me to the bathroom and to the shower.  The housekeeping staff cleaned under my bed, the room, and even cleaned the window seal. I have been amazed.  The staff here are the sweetest, kindest, happiest people I have ever experienced in a hospital. I have had fun getting better and stronger and will miss many of the smiling faces I have come to know as friends.

My stay here was excellent. The staff was the best part of my experience. Everyone was always smiling, upbeat and willing to help. I never had to wait when I needed assistance, and I always felt informed about my care.

Therapy was great to work with , with Jay, being my favorite. My wound care nurse, Leah, along with day shift nurses, Priscilla and Stephanie. Tina Bryant, my patient partner, always checking in with me and made me feel important.

The entire team gave me the time and support I needed to heal and regain my strength. If I had to be anywhere to recover for this length I am very grateful it was here!

This hospital is the best facility I have been in and I have been in a lot.  The clinical staff are very efficient and believe in patient care first as they go above and beyond. The nurses are very good at making sure I get the right medication and the right treatments. They are very friendly and easy to get along with. Julia and Allie are the best! Housekeeping is also great. They are very friendly. The kitchen staff are also very friendly and make sure I get double proteins. The doctors are great too.  They listen to my concerns and adjust my care around them.

I have been in a lot of hospitals over the last 8 years.  I really enjoy the feeling of being in a smaller hospital.  The attention and care I’ve received has felt more personalized than anywhere else I have been.  The standard of care I have received has been top notch also.  Everyone here has been very attentive to my needs and very friendly.  Definitely a Five Star Stay!

This hospital is a breath of fresh air! The communication that is both articulate and multifaceted is very good from the Doctor and the nurses. I have had lots of experience with hospitals as I have had 34 surgeries including 2 amputations in the last eight years.  I now must have knee surgery and have decided to come back to Fairfax after the surgery.

Dr. Nedich and Valerie are both wonderful. My care is multifaceted, and they are attacking my problems from all angles.  Therapy with Kristie and Jenny is awesome!  They keep me motivated and push me to do my best.  I am starting to feel as good as I did before my accident. The kitchen is also very good.  They come around every day and work with me on my menu.  The food is good.  I love the service Camden provides.

I give Fairfax Hospital a 10/10.  I have been in some of the largest hospitals in the United States and some of the smallest, but Fairfax has them all beat.

I was so surprised when I arrived that everything was so nice.  I didn’t know this hospital was like this.  It was recommended to me by SMC and I’m so glad it was.  I came in with a spinal injury, in a lot of pain, and I was unable to walk.  I am now walking with the walker, the pain is gone, and I am off all pain medication. Everyone here is so nice and kind, especially Lacey, Stephanie, Heather, and Myria. They are so kind and helpful.  They make sure I get my baths and take very good care of me.  Jonte is also wonderful.  He has helped me regain my strength so at 96 years of age I am still able to return home. Dr. Evan’s is also wonderful. He comes by and we have some good chats about his mom and the good old days. This hospital has been so good to me.

I went to the hospital to have a knee replacement. Being overconfident of my skills directly following surgery I fell in the bathroom causing a break in my femur which caused me to need another surgery and rehabilitation. Based on the recommendations my wife and I were given we chose Fairfax, and I have not regretted that decision.  The nurses here are friendly, knowledgeable, and are of great quality.  All the nurses stand out from the other hospitals I have been in. I find it amazing that I have not heard any bickering amongst the staff. It is not just nursing that is great.  The housekeeping staff are outstanding, and they are not treated any differently by the other staff.  The staff here are aware of how valuable housekeeping can be and appreciate each of them. The dietary staff are also great. They are friendly, kind, and the food is good. Physical therapy is incredible. They work very well together, will not let me fall, and are making sure that I regain the strength I need to get home.  They are eager to teach me the skills I need.  I am very glad I chose Rural Wellness Fairfax Hospital!!

I can walk again! When I arrived at Fairfax Hospital, I was unable to stand and walk.  Jay is awesome.  Thanks to her I am now able to stand and walk with a walker.  I have regained my strength and feel I can now be successful at home.  I also appreciate dining services. The food is good and the service is excellent.  They are all very nice, give you what you want, and the portions are the right size. Nursing and the Providers were good also. They answered all my questions.  I am so glad I chose to come to Fairfax Hospital.

The song “I Will Try with a Little Help from My Friends” by the Beatles is my anthem regarding my care here at Fairfax hospital.  This hospital has been my saving grace.  When I arrived at Fairfax Hospital I wanted to die.  My whole purpose was to stop living.  Any hope of living independently outside of the bed was gone. However, the doctors, nurses, PT, OT techs and other associates had another plan for me.  I was debilitated, weak and unable to walk in an upright position.  The staff here saw me as a person with much life and purpose to live.  The medicine, smiles, hugs, and much prayer gave me a reason to live with a purpose.  Because of the excellent care I received I am now walking in an upright position, regaining my core strength and now have hope of living an independent life. I now want to live with purpose.  Special thanks to Valerie, Rachel, Dr. Nedich, Dr. Graham, Tee, Courtney, Marcie, Jenny, Yvette, Marcus, Camden, Zoe, and Brennan – they exceeded my expectations of excellent healthcare!

I have been in a lot of hospitals. Usually, you have one or two staff that are your “favorite” because they go above and beyond. Not here. Here most of the staff go above and beyond. All the providers are wonderful, including Dr. Evans, Shannon, Dr. Nedich, Valerie and Rachel. Lacey, Heather, Salina, Myria, Stephanie, Allie W., Thomas, Priscillia, Elizabeth, Deb J. and Deb G. are all wonderful and I’m sure I’m missing someone. All of RT are good. PT is super wonderful. Jonte, J. and Jennifer are all excellent and have helped me so much. Kristy and Heather B. in the kitchen are also exceptional and went out of their way to make sure I had the chili dog I was craving. Garrett in housekeeping is also wonderful. Donna, from case management, also great; she made sure we got to all our appointments. Even the Hospital Administrator, Hunter and the security guard, David, have been by to see me. They completely spoiled me while I was here.

I love this hospital! Heather and Maria are excellent aids. The staff are all very nice, responsive, and caring. Most of the staff go above and beyond. My patient partner, Jessica, was excellent. Housekeeping was great, Garrett was particularly good and very nice. Therapy was also great. I am walking better and have more strength. Dietary was also good. They fed me well and always asked what I wanted. I love this hospital!

This is the friendliest hospital! The nurses and CNAs are very friendly, they make me feel comfortable and take care of all my needs. The housekeepers are also friendly, as they always stop and chat while they clean. The kitchen workers are also very good and the food tastes good. Easter lunch was amazing. The coleslaw was so good. Kathleen from RT makes my day with all her crazy birds. Jonte’ is my favorite. He pushes me to do a little bit more in therapy and I am making great progress and getting stronger.

The best thing about this hospital is the friendly staff.  They have taught me how to do things outside my wheelhouse and made me feel good about it.  All the staff have been part of therapy as they help me to get stronger and assist me with my activities.  I found my way here due to multiple falls, weakness, and orthostatic blood pressure.  The staff have taught me how to be patient, swallow my pride, and accept help from others. I have now regained my strength and am able to move around more safely, which was the ultimate goal.

I have been in Rural Wellness Fairfax hospital since March and I am very impressed with the staff here.  Nursing is very fair.  The staff don’t pick and choose who they help.  They help everyone every time they need help. They are wonderful, especially Monica and Nikki.  Monica is very funny and entertains me.  The food is pretty good, and I like that they come around and talk to me about my meal choices.  The hospital is very clean, and the housekeeping staff are very nice. Rachel and Dr. Evans are both on the spot and go above and beyond.  This is a great place to receive good quality care!

This is a great small hospital! The staff were very attentive on my arrival. PT started right away and it was more intense than it was at the previous hospital. The staff check on me often. If I didn’t have to have surgery I would love to stay. I really like the way they do dialysis. They usually only have a few patients, and it is done in the early morning so it’s over and done with. The food is decent and if you don’t like the choices they will substitute for something that I do like. There are also better snack options. I’m glad I chose to come to Fairfax Hospital.

I love this hospital! My second night here my sugar dropped and I believe Deb Johnson saved my life. I was very scared and she stayed
and talked me through until my sugar came back up. She is an absolutely wonderful nurse!

All the CNAs are so wonderful and pleasant even when I am cranky. Lacey went out of her way to do my hair in the pigtail style I
had told her I liked. I feel very taken care of.

The food is “to die for”! I really don’t like broccoli. The kitchen lady must have seen my face when she suggested it, and I have never had
broccoli again. They also serve my son a tray when he comes to visit me. We don’t take it for granted but very much appreciate the extra attention.

Therapy is hard but necessary. The therapy team always works well with me. Everyone here chooses to be happy and that makes me want to choose to be happy as well.

This is the best hospital I’ve ever been in! The people here all feel like family. Physical Therapy was great and very attentive. I couldn’t ask for a better team. I’m surprised more people don’t know about this hospital, but when I get back to Stillwater they will! If anything ever happens to me again this is where I want to come. There isn’t anything I didn’t enjoy about this hospital.
